ICL ATM Design understand that users at unattended self-service terminals (SST) have a special need for added security and surveillance. We designed Clear View™ ATM security mirrors with this in mind.


With persistently high rates of crime targeting ATM customers, the retail banking industry’s ongoing challenge is to create a safer and more secure ATM environment.


Clear View™ ATM security mirrors not only encourage your customers to stay alert, but allow them to be discreet in viewing their surroundings and see what would otherwise be out of sight.


Designed, tested and manufactured at our factory in Glasgow, Clear View™ ATM security mirrors are made of a high impact, highly reflective polymer which provides a clear view of those within a distance to shoulder surf*.


When affixed to both the left and right of an ATM fascia, the mirrors provide your customer with the broadest viewing range and a greater sense of safety.

*Shoulder surfing : the practice of spying on the user of a cash-dispensing machine or other electronic device in order to obtain their personal identification number, password, or other confidential information.

Losses at UK cash machines increased by 20 per cent to £32.7 million in 2015.

These figures show how much fraud took place at cash machines in the UK on stolen cards or where a card account has been taken over by a fraudster. In all cases the fraudster would need to have access to the genuine PIN and card.
